an interlude to monotony.
just when i thought it would be JUST a saturday, along came spidey to save my day!we got 11 movie passes to the 2GO special screening of spider-man 3 at the imax theater. 11 movie passes = entire family. 11 movie passes x 350php = 3850php. make the price higher: 11 movie passes x 500php = 5500php. thousands of bucks saved!
arrived early at the MOA. we're not damn excited, it's just that the traffic flow at roxas boulevard is tolerable and we got there in no time. chilled out at country style and had a few donuts. sugar. calories. fats. been a babysitter-slash-kidsitter (what the hell is that?) and followed my brother and cousins to the bay area where cupid-stricken, lovidoo, sweetie sugar pie couples huddled each other. capital Y-U-C-K. the bay area is a public (PDA) place. good thing we sighted these huge binoculars that needed a 5-peso coin to get going. atleast, although i'm not satisfied with it's capacity and all, my attention was countered away from the cupid-stricken, lovidoo, sweetie sugar pie couples.
went straight to the chill lounge to wait some more. wait some more. wait some more... camera whore... what a bore... then it's registration time! i had to rush in line to get the best seats possible. got stuck between conios and i can't bear it! i almost forgot, we had to register to tally the tickets and to get the food stubs. free movie passes + food + freebies?! how totally great is that?!
i've had enough queue-ing in my entire stay on earth but i always had to deal with it. we always have to deal with it. a set of kids were lined before us and i could hear their aunt's rants on rules and regulations inside the cinema. oh well, who cares about them? ever since a line was formed, they've been eyeing us as if we were a threat to their precious desired seats. heck, tell me why do i mind those people who doesn't do anything to me? what's happening to my system?
my brother and cousins never fail to amuse me. nobody told them to project like that in front of all the people. following my steps? next top models? (kapal mo mica! batukan kita diyan eh makita mo!) :P
we got the best seats. as always. we had the sy's and the aboitiz owners at the back. they had specially reserved seats. watching with the rich and the famous. ooh. :P
so much for expectations but spider-man 3 was not filmed in 3D format. atleast i got to see him in one of the biggest screens in the world with whopping 12, 000 watts of surround sound. i was able to trace kirsten's wrinkles (lolo kept bugging me that she was to old looking for peter and that the police officer's daughter was better). i was able to see the transition of tobey from a good guy to a bad one through his eyeliner. what's good about big screens is that you could see all the details. but you could easily spot what's wrong too. remember the scene where peter and harry first fought? harry made a gash on peter's stomach. after the fight, peter's gash was gone! do spidey's wounds tend to heal so fast?
i bet that sandman would be spidey's foe since he just forgave him and let him get away. there would be another version of venom since a symbiote sample was left with spidey's professor. haha. assumptions.
i love the good and the bad peter parker. i will always will.
world peace. ^^
