cheesy.
what have i been doing lately?[this post is sure to waste a reader's time again.]
nov20. [day of roses.]
i was one of the many ladies who received a rose from the UPSILON members.
a guy went up to our door during our kom1 class and asked our instructor to spare him some time. he was in a formal attire and was holding on to a bouquet of roses. i thought he was going to pronounce his feelings to one of my classmates.
when my instructor allowed him to enter, a bunch of formal looking guys entered our room. one of them said that they just wanted to serenade the beautiful ladies of the University. they sang "your love" complete with guitar accompaniment. their booming voice was sure a sound to behold.
it was my first rose for my first year in college. although not given in a more personal manner [and was not given by the guy in blue], it was still a rose and it was still sweet. i even kept in a book to be dried and be preserved.
one thing is just wrong: i'm not yet a lady. :p

nov21.[shuperb day.]
i hated the morning part of this day.
why?
i got myself into more work.
kasalanan na ba ngayon na magtanong kung hinihingan ka ng tanong?!
it was during our world tourism class. tony [our professor who would prefer to be called with his nick only] distributed the syllabus and explained its content. one of the class activities listed was FIELD TRIPS. and so rushing back to our block orientation days, one of the upper class mentioned that this class would be our chance to visit another country.
and so when he was finished with the syllabus, he asked the class for some questions. frozen in terror, no one dared to ask one [although every bit was completely clear to us]. tony was demanding for a question and so i raised my hand. and so the trouble started.
i asked if the field trip would be out of the country because i'm dying to ride a plane and to visit a foreign land. then he started sharing his experience when he was organizing a trip for his ecotourism class way back. he succinctly expressed how hard that was. and away he went with the story blah, blah, blah.
after his litany, he asked the whole class if we still want to pursue the trip. all of them said YES of course, including me. the bad thing was, he also asked, "would you want mica to look for a place where we can go?"
and a dreadful YES filled my eardrums.
and so tony asked me to present a report [which included fare rates, accommodation, and sites to visit] of a country where we could go. our activity should be concordant to the course syllabus and will not interfere with tour114's [another tourism subject] subject objectives.
i don't know if the task is graded, knowing the fact what a great GC i am. but i think its not.
[sa akin lang naman nakasalalay ang pangarap ng buong klase na makarating ng ibang bansa.]
not too hard to handle isn't it? [gurg.]
and so here i am, drooling over the pc and looking at packaged tours and sites.
lesson: be quiet at all times!

and so the morning was dreadful. but not the afternoon.
ask me why! ask me why!
what: [...]
where: AS lobby entrance
when: 11.21.06 - 2:40pm
who: ... in sky blue shirt and denim pants.
its no big deal actually. but it made up for my mistake during the morning.
i went to the sunken garden to meet up with Bar. we're about to inquire about the YFC application. i ate my carioca first and sat there for a few minutes while chatting with my batchmates. after 20 minutes or so, we walked our way backed to the AS to go to the YFC tambayan.
bar was spilling her gossip about him [as usual] while walking. of course i was very eager to know how his day went and my imagination was actively picturing him in his seat with wide gazed eye on his kas02 professor.
when we reached the entrance, i saw a familiar face: manong. at the moment, i had this feeling already: there's something to watch out. manong is never without his bunch of new found friends.
and i was right: he was there, fast approaching our direction.
the usual antics: bar and manong clapped hands and said their greeting and talked nonsense [for me].
my usual antic: glanced, veered away, said hi to my batchmate.
ugh. i can't explain. i don't want to cross my way with him but having a glance of him makes me happy.
cheesy?!
well i think it is.
who cares anyway?
:P
